Mildew on carpet to the right of the A/C unit under the curtains. Sleep timer did not work on the TV. Bath and face soap does not have a pleasing natural odor. Furniture stained and the bed linens had a faint odor of mechanical oil. Price for the room is high for the area and deficiencies.
Good place to stop. Plenty of quick places to eat at this exit. The hotel was clean and quiet. Would stay again if the opportunity was presented
We found this place to be generally dirty, especially the floors. The lobby, elevator, and hallways all had debris on the floor that absolutely should not have been there. Our room was clean, but then we made the mistake of letting our bare feet touch the carpet. It felt so gross and stayed on my feet. I ended up getting up out of bed to wash my feet, then walked from the bathroom to bed with my flip-flops on. Our bed was generally hard and uncomfortable and the four tiny square pillows there were a joke. This place wasn't terrible, but with so many other choices, I would not stay here again.
I was waiting in the lobby for the elevator to return. After a couple minutes we come to realize that the elevator was stuck with people on it. Apparently these people were able to pry the door open and get off on the third floor. The elevator return to the lobby and some more people decided to load on. I on the other hand did not want to risk getting stuck so I waited. Again the elevator got stuck. The staff didn't seem to be too concerned. when I asked where the stairs were I was ignored, so I roam the Halls until I found the stairs. When entering my room nothing out of the normal not super clean not super dirty. Upon leaving through the lobby in the morning I noticed there were firefighters helping people that were stuck on the elevator. So the staff knowing of a faulty broken elevator continuously let people use it. Unfortunately there's only a couple hotels in Madison probably still your best option.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room was quiet; the highway was far enough away not to be heard at night. The staff was pleasant and easy to work. The pool was discolored, but it seemed to be receiving maintenance. The breakfast was good and there were many choices. My stay was very enjoyable.
